Plumbing Problem

So which side of the building /would/ be better for a fire truck to deploy? The one side has, well, quite a bit of water. So there would be little worry about running out. Considering the state of the infrastructure on that island, I'm not sure the fire hydrant would actually work anyway.

Of course, on the other hand, the fire hydrant /is/ fire-engine red, so it is the logical place for the fire engine to go. Birds-of-a-feather and all. Assuming, that is, that the firemen wouldn't get the two confused. But that's why firemen have dogs, right?

Then again, considering this is on an island, the question might be moot, for by the time a fire engine managed to ferry its way over, what are the chances the building would still be stainding? Again, based on the current state of the infrastructure, I'd say the chances are fairly small.

Even if there is no fire.
