They're To Their Tutu There Too

I think I want a new job. It's not that I don't like the one I have. I like it a lot! But there're some things that I'll never be able to do here. The computer will never appreciate me for the word games I play. Well, not all of them, anyway. The one last week with the 'W' and the 'X', it's still not over that one.

But still, everybody likes to be appreciated. And I know that I can't be fully so as long as I continue to work with a computer. Even if it were to appreciate everything I said and did, I still couldn't be fully appreciated, for I would be unable to reach the fullness of my potential. (Which I guess might be sad too, for then I would have to transfer back to kinetic, and that's just painful.)

No, I think I need to work in a shipping and recieving room. Preferably for a large dance company. A very, very, very large dance company. For there, I would finally be able to truly complete a lifelong goal. (And then end up looking for a job elsewhere, of course, so maybe I'll just try to find somewhere I can volunteer for a day.) But it has to be a really, really, really big dance company.

Or at least be oddly numbered.

Otherwise, I'm not sure how I'll /ever/ be able to work out such a conversation. And it's one of my goals. It's good to have goals, you know.

"Tutu two to 2222 too" (or, if I'm having flashbacks to Latin, "Tutu two to 2222 too, tu!")

Yes, I really want to be a supervisor in a really large ballet company's mail room. Then I can try to figure out how to appropriately use "their", "there", and "they're".

Plumbing Problem

So which side of the building /would/ be better for a fire truck to deploy? The one side has, well, quite a bit of water. So there would be little worry about running out. Considering the state of the infrastructure on that island, I'm not sure the fire hydrant would actually work anyway.

Of course, on the other hand, the fire hydrant /is/ fire-engine red, so it is the logical place for the fire engine to go. Birds-of-a-feather and all. Assuming, that is, that the firemen wouldn't get the two confused. But that's why firemen have dogs, right?

Then again, considering this is on an island, the question might be moot, for by the time a fire engine managed to ferry its way over, what are the chances the building would still be stainding? Again, based on the current state of the infrastructure, I'd say the chances are fairly small.

Even if there is no fire.

Spam of Another Flavor

I've tried to stay away from too much ranting on here. I've tried to keep to the mindless, the odd, the different, the new. But, alas, I find myself unable to contain my displeasure at the stupidity and moronicity and whatever other -ity's I can come up with. For again I am reminded that people are dumb. People annoy me.

I took lots and lots of pictures in the last couple of weeks. From these pictures, I've found sixteen or so that were actually decent. Or at least decent enough to admit to my personal part in the creation of them, and thus decent enough that I'm willing to add them to my blog. So I uploaded them all this evening, and in the midst of finding the good pictures, I started to notice... I've got mail!

Someone's been commenting on my blog? How odd. They're posting anonymously? Sad. They're linking to a viagra site? Sigh. Stupid people. I hate spam. *DELETE* Linking to a speed reading site? Sigh. Stupid people. I hate spam. *DELETE* A Chevy truck site? More Viagra? A toy store? Sigh. Stupid people. I really hate spam. *DELETE*

So I find myself, forced to rant about something real and true. It happens rarely, but sometimes I just get tired of it and feel the need to share. So I apologize to you, my one-and-a-half true readers. But really, it's not my fault. Blame the spammers. They don't eat enough tuna.
